Natrona County High School Booster Club:

Our Football Reps have worked tirelessly for Mustang Football over the years.  Their efforts along with many dedicated volunteers has energized this group.  This organization is made up of volunteers that support all Athletics at Natrona County High School.

This organization has been instrumental in the development of a first class Strength and Conditioning Facility at Natrona County as well as our well equipped Training Room.  More recent projects include amenities to update the Gymnasium and South Entrance to the Stadium.  For more information contact our Athletic Director, Spencer Cantrell at 307.253.1701

Natrona County High School Millennium Fund Inc.

This group of volunteers has formed a charitable 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.  It is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the historic outdoor facilities at Natrona County High School.  Its initial project (2000-2001) raised cash and in-kind services totaling over one million dollars to install a state of the art multi-use surface.  The original Astro-Play surface was dedicated in 2002 as Cheney Alumni Field to honor all of our great alumi.  It has since been updated to a Field Turf surface and supports daily Physical Education, Band, Football and Soccer practice as well as CY, Dean Morgan and Natrona County High School competitions and community events and use.   NCHS was the first school in Wyoming (UWyo was 2nd) to install this surface.  Several schools across the state have since switched their fields to a similar surface.

Other recent projects include the unveiling of Chris Navarro's Bronze "Mustang Pride" and the installation of af the largest scoreboard in Wyoming and the "Coach Art Hill Press Box" was formally dedicated in 2005.  This outstanding press box was a tremedous addition and more than doubled the previous space.

In 2006 with support from the school facilities department and enhancements from NCSD and the Millennium fund a 400M track was constructed East of the field.  This facility with a surface similar to Cheney Alumni Field has totally changed the campus and provided tremendous opportunities for our students and community.  In 2009 a building was built South of the track that supports restrooms, concessions, storage and meet operations for the track.  It was another partnership between NCSD and the Millennium group.

In 2010 with the leadership of our school board new lockerrooms and womens restrooms were added at the stadium.  Donations added 3 big screen TV's and a sound system.  In addition, there has been significant work to restore and maintain the original structure.  New construction techniques will extend the future of this historic structure for several more decades.   Mustang Stadium was a WPA project in 1933 and was the first goal line to goal line stadium in the Rocky Mtn region, before UWyo, CSU and CU.   Future projects include the updating of the concessions, storage and training facilities under the stadium.  For more information please contact the President John Bush at 307.266.1983.

These partnerships between school and community are vitally important to the success and development of our youth.  Natrona County High School truly appreciates your contribution of Time, Talent and Resources for the benefit of Casper's future.
